Are You Using The Most Overused Term in Online Marketing?

One of the most overused terms in the online marketing and entrepreneurial space is having an irresistible offer, an offer you just can't miss. There is a reason for that: sales and marketing become much easier when you truly have an irresistible offer.

In my opinion, there's no better marketing strategy than having an offer that people want.

But how do we actually know when our offers are irresistible?

Most people use sales as their measure. They believe that if you're able to sell a lot, that means you have an irresistible offer.

But I don't think that's the case.

an IRRESISTIBLE offer

For me, if you have a lot of sales, it means you're good at sales and marketing it. Good for you!

But in my opinion, the way to know if you have something people want, you should be able to confidently answer yes to at least one of these questions:

  • Are my customers buying again from me?
  • Are my customers buying more from me?
  • Are my customers actively promoting me?

It's one thing to be able to sell and market your offer, but how many times have you seen something that looks awesome, and after you bought it, the experience was underwhelming?

How many times have you felt scammed by an exaggerated ad that under-delivered on the product or service?

If you answered no to those questions, that's nothing to be sad or ashamed about. Now you have an opportunity to change that.

If you're selling a consumable product and your customers aren't buying again, think about how you can make your products so great that it would make people purchase again?

If you're a service provider and your customers are not taking you on for more projects, can you deliver higher quality output that makes your customers want more?

If you're selling something that is not likely to lead to a repeat purchase (e.g. selling a house), can you develop relationships so that your customers can actively promote you and send referrals your way?

Rather than being sad about not having these in place, you can look at what you can do and start to make this happen.
